That is why we are encouraged by the recent tentative ruling from the Placer County Superior Court regarding The Gathering Inn’s planned medical respite facility in Lincoln, CA. In a statement released this week, The Gathering Inn shared that the Court’s tentative decision found no violation of grant requirements regarding community engagement. Furthermore, the Court concluded that the California Department of Social Services properly awarded funds for the facility.

Significantly, the decision rejected claims of fraud against The Gathering Inn and its personnel—a ruling the City has stated it will not contest. This validates the integrity of our client and keeps the focus where it belongs: on the people who need help.
