RPM President David Renard Named to ProBuilder’s 2025 “Young Guns & Legends” Class
From delivering 24 navigation centers to pioneering multi-story modular housing, this recognition validates RPM Team’s mandate to redefine the industry.
We are proud to announce that RPM Team President David Renard has been selected as a member of ProBuilder magazine’s prestigious 2025 "Young Guns & Legends" class. Formerly known as the 40 Under 40, this program spotlights the visionary leaders who are actively rewriting the rules of the U.S. housing and construction industry.
A Vision for Faster, Dignified Housing
David’s selection as a "Young Gun" is not an accident; it is the result of a career dedicated to solving one of society’s most pressing challenges: the need for purposeful, fast-tracked, and dignified housing.
After serving in an executive role at a structural engineering firm—where he helped lead it to become a top-ranked Inc. 5000 fastest-growing company—David identified a critical gap in the market. He saw that traditional design firms were disconnected from the realities of manufacturing. He founded RPM Team to close that gap, creating a firm capable of partnering directly with manufacturers to deliver high-quality results with unmatched speed and efficiency.
Proven Execution in Critical Environments
This award recognizes a track record defined by action, not just theory. David and the RPM Team have earned expertise through direct, hands-on leadership on groundbreaking projects, including:
Executing 24 navigation centers across the country.
Leading the development of California’s first three-story shipping container homeless shelter—a monumental feat in modular construction.
Delivering the Huntington Beach Navigation Center, a project so impactful it earned the American Public Works Association's Most Impactful Public Facility Award in 2021.
Designing COVID hospitals for the Army Corps of Engineers, demonstrating the ability to perform under extreme time sensitivity.
A Collective Victory
While this award highlights individual leadership, David is the first to emphasize that in modern construction, there are no solo victories. Conquering today's building challenges requires a powerhouse team committed to excellence.
“While my name is on the list, the merit belongs to the execution of the entire RPM Team LLC—you cannot conquer the complexities of modern construction alone,” David stated regarding the announcement. “The recognition confirms that our relentless pursuit of technical precision and smarter construction methods is making a tangible impact on the industry.”
Charging Into 2026
We accept this accolade not as a place to rest, but as a mandate to accelerate.
Currently, we are expanding our focus to new construction approaches for multi-family homes, ranging from modular to panelized construction. To our partners and clients: thank you for bringing us the challenges that force us to innovate.
We are incredibly proud of what we have built, but we are even more excited about where we are going. We are charging into 2026 with formidable momentum.
